Remember 90s pop-rock group Wheatus and their infectiously catchy and highly overplayed song “Teenage Dirtbag”? Well, they’re back and the 10th anniversary of its release.
Wheatus is currently on tour in support of their latest album Pop, Songs & Death: Vol. 2 The Jupiter EP, which according to their official site, took longer than expected as the band faced various unexpected events this year.
Say what you will, I always enjoyed the fun pop rock of groups like this (New Radicals, anyone?). You couldn’t be in a bad mood after listening to them.
And now, Wheatus is bringing their fun flavored energy to the Canal Club on Friday, playing with 4 Miles Away, Every Other Weekend and Parchment Kick.
