The Tom Tom Founders Festival of music, art and innovation, has been taking place in Charlottesville since April 13. But the big end of festival party is taking place next weekend (May 11-12) all around town. There’s a bunch of great music throughout the weekend including Josh Ritter, The Walkmen, J Roddy Walston and the Business, Hospitality and a whole lot more. I mean, just look at all the names in the graphic above.
Plus, there are a bunch of acts I’ve seen before that are phenomenal including Hope for Agoldensummer, The Hill and Wood, Carl Anderson, the Great Unknown, Birdlips and Invisible Hand (and that’s not even all the acts).
And RVA is being also represented well with No BS Brass Band, Dead Fame and Nelly Kate playing shows.
If you’re into good music and are looking for a quick weekend road trip, might I suggest taking in this festival?
