Another Birthday Party Done. Big Thank You All Around

birthdayI cannot even begin to thank all of you who came out to the birthday party last night. I was surprised by last year’s turnout, but I couldn’t have been prepared by the amount of people who showed up this time. The place was packed with people enjoying music and I couldn’t have asked for a better crowd.

Major thanks go out to the Camel for once again hosting the event.

Thank you to Anousheh for starting the night off right, Long Arms for making everyone get up and move and Horsehead for keeping the party going to the late hours. Also, thank you to James, Ward and John for the pre and mid-show entertainment.

Thank you to Matt Klimas for another amazing poster.

Thank you yet again to The Cheats Movement for taking photos of the event. #weseeit

Thank you to Friday Cheers, The Camel, Steady Sounds, Blanchard’s Coffee and Triple Stamp Press for donating all the great prizes for the raffle.

Thank you to Kim Shook for another delicious cake.

Shout out to frat boy Zack, who began partying at the Camel at 5:30 p.m. and stayed all night.

horseheadThank you to all the bloggers and music sites including You Hear That, Sounds of RVA, WRIR’s Sunrise Ocean Bender and RVA Open Source, RVA Magazine, Jessi from Richmond.comOne Way Richmond, The Richmond Scene, Fan of the Fan and Style Weekly for all the promotion, interviews and getting the word out.

And lastly, I’d like to thank all of you who read the blog, retweeted links, spammed your friends on Facebook, sent messages about how excited you were and everyone who showed up for a show when they could have been doing something else that evening. It seriously meant the world to me.

Now to plan for Year 4!
