Who Says Fall Line Fest Can’t Continue Through Sunday?

stage2Just because Fall Line Fest is technically over on Saturday night, there’s a buttload (that’s a specific measurement, people) of fun arts and music related things going on Sunday, so why not just continue the Fall Line Fest fun?

Here’s a list of what’s going on:

BRUNCH WITH THE OREGON HILL FUNK ALL-STARS AT THE CAMEL –  11 a.m.
Work off your hangover from twerking with Big Freedia and get some brunch while the Oregon Hill Funk All-Stars perform their funk influenced jams.

OLD-TIME JAME W/ TRIPP & JENNY JOHNSON AT CARY ST. CAFE – 2-5 p.m.
Every Sunday afternoon Tripp and Jenny Johnson present a folk and bluegrass open mic that’s has been going strong since 2003.

US ROYALTY, GLASS TWIN, THE WEATHER AT THE CAMEL – 8 p.m.
DC indie rock band US Royalty will be joining Glass Twin (formerly Marionette) and The Weather.

RADIO RUBBER ROOM presents ACCIDENTS, TOXIC MOXIE AT EMILIO’S – 9:30 p.m.
Radio Rubber Room presents free local music every other Sunday at Emilio’s and this Sunday, come get crazy when Accidents (from DC) plays with local favorites Toxic Moxie.

SOCIETY SUCKER, TEEN DEATH, NAYSAYER, OUT CROWD  (Early Show, 5 p.m.) and HOUSES, JAMAICAN QUEENS, MIRROR KISSES (Late Show, 9 p.m.) at STRANGE MATTER
More punk, hardcore and indie rock bands than you can handle are playing Strange Matter on Sunday. Head out there early to catch Society Sucker, Teen Death, Naysayer and Out Crowd or stay up late to hear Houses, Jamaican Queens and Mirror Kisses.

THE JAZZ WARRIORS AT BOGART’S – 7 p.m.
The Jazz Warriors play their selection of hits throughout the night.

SLEEPY BROTHER AT TOBACCO COMPANY – 7:30 p.m.
Richmond’s best-kept indie folk secret. Love these guys.

CALIFONE AT CAPITAL ALE HOUSE – 8 p.m.
Chicago experimental rock band Califone
will be hitting Cap Ale’s stage with a collection of fun songs.

STEEP CANYON RANGERS, JOY KILLS SORROW AT MODLIN CENTER – 7:30 p.m.
Head over to University of Richmond’s Modlin Center for the bluegrass antics of Steep Canyon Rangers as they perform selections from their Grammy-winning album “Nobody Knows You.” Joy Kills Sorrow opens the show.

RVA PLAYLIST presents LIVE AT IPANEMA with THOSE MANIC SEAS – 10 p.m.
And if I haven’t bugged you enough about this FREE show at Ipanema with the ambient rock of Those Manic Seas, you all definitely need to be there.

Maybe we should just take it into Monday as well…
