East Coast Secondaries are No More

Richmond rockers East Coast Secondaries announced its breakup tonight on its Facebook page:

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the support you have given us over the past 5 years. Whether it was by coming out to see us play, buying a shirt, or even just keeping up with East Coast Secondaries through Facebook.

Unfortunately, East Coast Secondaries is planning to call it quits in the near future. As it stands right now, we have a show coming up on Saturday and we are in the process of planning a farewell show near the beginning of 2014. All of this is completely amicable and really just stems from a lack of time to really commit to playing in this group at this point in our lives.

We are going to try and compile as much of our recorded material as we can and upload it to facebook and bandcamp. We hope we can see you out at one our 2 remaining shows. Again, thank you everyone for all of your support over the past 5 years.

It’s always a shame to see a band call it quits. These guys were always fun to listen to.
