Whether you are single and lonely or madly in love and have the perfect relationship (or if you just like great music), head over to Gallery 5 on Friday, Feb. 14 for WRIR’s 8th Annual Black Valentine’s Day.
Clayton England, The Cales and Lightfields will perform songs about love gone terribly wrong, from the unrequited feelings to betrayal and despair. WRIR DJ Charlie from The Creeepy Side of Love show will be spinning songs of romantic woe between sets.
This year’s party will also mark the return of the Black Valentine’s Day live Bachelor Auction. Each winning bidder will walk away with an eligible bachelor and a dinner for two at one of Richmond’s finest restaurants.
Well-adjusted people in happy, committed relationships are also welcome, but please turn the joy down a notch. It’s BLACK Valentine’s Day after all.
