On Sunday, May 18 head to Sub Rosa Bakery in Church Hill and be transported to İstanbul in the 1960’s where pop songs from the West are transformed through the Oriental looking glass.
Brand new Turkish pop group Yeni Nostalji features Christina Marie (of the Low Branches and Transitones), who will be singing alongside Sub Rosa’s Evrim Doğu moonlighting as the handsome Turkish guitarist and supporting vocalist. They even kidnapped a Turkish woman’s husband, Jeff London, to lend his talents to the group. Rumor has it that Yeni Nostalji is scouting out musicians.
