Atlanta-based noise pop band Gold-Bears just released their sophomore album “Dalliance” on June 3. Main “Bear” Jeremy Underwood gathered a new group of players to create a more focused and abrasive release than the band’s 2011 debut “Are You Falling In Love?”
The band says the new album is about regret.
“It reminds you of that time you lied to your friend when you said you were too busy to hang out, but instead went to the bar alone. Or when you sent that really shitty email to your brother about something that really has no bearing anymore, because you were too caught up in the moment to think clearly. It also reminds you of the time you got divorced… from whatever or whomever.”
Gold-Bears will be playing at Steady Sounds on Saturday, June 7 with Hoax Hunters before playing a house show later that night.
