L.A. noir psych-rock octet Jail Weddings is coming to Strange Matter on Tuesday, June 24.
Their sound merges multiple decades of So Cal musical lore from Phil Spector to hazy west coast psych to early punk and more. Jail Weddings was named #1 Album of The Year in 2013 by LA Weekly.
The band’s sophomore album “Meltdown: A Declaration of Unpopular Emotion” was released recently to rave reviews.
