Get Ready, Richmond: SIRSY is Coming and You Will Love Them

The Boston Globe calls them “little band, big sound,” but the only thing little about SIRSY is that there is two of them.

SIRSY plays rock and soul that hits you in the face and doesn’t apologize for it. Their latest album “Coming Into Frame” is full of sing-along pop melodies, lots of fun and “just the right amount of sass.” It’s an album that you pick up and listen to and then think “why is this album not in my life?”

Their energetic live show often includes contagious energy as vocalist/drummer Melanie Krahmer plays a full drum kit while standing up as guitarist Rich Libutti plays a road worn Rickenbacker through a pedal board of vintage effects.

SIRSY performs at Babe’s of Carytown on Friday, Feb. 6.
