Monday Music Roundup – March 9, 2015

arcosphereJim Fabricatore has played in several bands ranging in styles from the Americana rock of Moossa to experimental sounds of Organica. Arcosphere is his most recent music project and the first self-released album, “Sun of Man,” is a collection of folk-inspired, ambient songs.

groamGroam & Joan son of Groam are a trio of sax, bass and drums that formed at the end of last year and recently recorded their demo. The group is planning a 3 week tour for May going up and down the East Coast.

goldinGoldin is back a new track titled “Knowledge Bands”. He’ll also be headed to Austin, Texas to represent Richmond at South by Southwest performing on March 18. Goldin drops new exclusive freestyle over Drake’s 10 Bands in the midst of his own #TAPR2 campaign

lazerstarElectronic artist Lazerstar has a brand new EP that has been in the making for over three years. The EP is compiled of three brand new songs and a bonus remix.

rosewoRoseWo is a new Richmond rap duo with a few songs under their belt. Check out “Ladders.”
EDIT: Turns out, RoseWo is from Los Angeles and not RVA as I had initially thought.

millzMillz’ new record “BANKS” is the final single from “TRE X 9,” Millz’ latest project, scheduled to drop on April 15.

sidechainRVA based Future Bass producer, Dodgy Geezer (DGYGZR) has two new instrumentals out that are worth checking out.
