Richmond Bands Compete to Play Lockn’ Festival

rockntolocknOver the course of July, 16 Virginia bands competed for the chance to perform at the Lockn’ Music Festival in Arrington, Va. September 10-13. The Battle of the Bands every Friday at various venues around the state showed crowds how much talent in is our fair state. Each week, one band won a much coveted performance spot at Lockn’, sharing the stage with the likes of The Doobie Brothers, Widespread Panic, Robert Plant, Gov’t Mule and many others.

On July 31, The Southern Belles, Tin Can Fish Band, The Working Effective, and Imaginary Sons will perform at Capital Ale House. The winner from this goes on to Lockn’!
